What we collect

Account: email address and (optionally) display name.
Reports & content: beach condition reports, comments, photos, and votes you submit.
Location: only when you ask the app to use your location to find nearby beaches. We do not track your location in the background.
Usage: basic analytics (pages visited, device type) to improve the app.

How we use it

Provide live beach conditions, alerts, and personalized features.
Operate accounts, subscriptions, and customer support.
Detect abuse, spam, and policy violations.

Service providers

We use trusted processors who handle data on our behalf: Lovable Cloud (database, auth, storage), Stripe (payments — we never see your card number), and Open-Meteo (public weather/marine data).

Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Your rights

You can request export or deletion of your account and data at any time by emailing us. EU/UK users have rights under GDPR; California users under CCPA.

Children

Jellyfish? is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from them.
